This page lists the main external data sources used by ISS-over.me.
Geographic data
City names, coordinates and population values are based on the GeoNames geographical database.
This work uses data from GeoNames.org, which is made available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0) .
The original data has been filtered, subsetted and reformatted for use on this site.
Orbital and astronomy data
International Space Station pass estimates are based on publicly available orbital information and standard astronomy calculations.
Additional astronomy data may use publicly available information from space agencies and scientific organisations where noted.

ISS-over.me is an independent project and is not affiliated with NASA, ESA, Roscosmos, JAXA, CSA or any other space agency.
All timings are approximate. Local conditions such as weather, light pollution and obstructions will affect what is actually visible.
